Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) conclude the complaint investigation at Baker Unified School District State Preschool and met with the Lead Teacher Monserret Bernal dated 2-4-2020. The purpose of the inspection was to conduct investigation on allegations of Staff left day care child unattended while in care. LPA interviewed the lead teacher, teacher aide, parents, site supervisor and unsuccessfully attempted to contact Reporting party. LPA obtained child care roster with names of child involved.

Based on the interviews, review of staff files on Complaint on 12-06-2019. Although the allegations may have happen or is valid, there is not a proponderance of the evidence to prove that Child #1 was left unattended; therefore, the above allegations are unsubstantiated. It was determined Baker Unified School District this complaint and allegations need no further investigation. Baker USD has adequete supervision enough to care for children under Title 5 mandates.
