This is a two story 6-bedroom, 3-bathroom home with kitchen, living room, family room, laundry room, loft and garage. The garage is used for storage only and no childcare activities are conducted there. There is a pool/or body of water on the premises. LPA observed Jacuzzi has a cover with a lock to make it inaccessible to children. Children have access to bathroom in kitchen. LPA observed age-appropriate toys, books, play structures, and activities in the childcare area and backyard. Off-limits areas include the home's entire upstairs, downstairs bedroom (only used for napping), and the garage.
The home was inspected inside and out for safety, comfort, cleanliness, telephone service, heating and ventilation, inaccessibility to poisons, detergents, cleaning compounds (kept in kitchen cabinet under sink with safety latch), medicines (kept in locked pantry), and hazardous items that can pose a danger to children. Sharp knives are kept in upper kitchen cabinet above stove inaccessible to children. The facility roster is complete and maintained current. |
