25 | On 07/09/2021 at 2:00pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Destinee Hogue arrived at the facility to conduct a required annual inspection. Licensee's bedroom (office) was previously off limits to daycare children. Licensee has requested to make the office accessible to daycare children for the purposes of napping. LPA toured the facility inside and out, including office room; records were reviewed; and the following was observed and/or discussed with Licensee, Juli Leshko:
Normal days and hours of operation are: Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 5:00pm
OFF-LIMIT AREAS INCLUDE: Master bedroom, bedroom #2, and Garage
- There is an in-ground pool surrounded by fencing. The mesh fencing surrounds the entire pool, the gate is self-closing, self-latching, and opens away from the pool. Licensee understands all bodies of water including ponds, above ground pools & spas, in-ground pools & spas, and some fountains must be properly covered or fenced per Title 22 regulations. The Department must be notified before and after installation of the above types of bodies of water. In addition, all wading pools or similar product must be emptied immediately after use and stored in an upright position.
- There is a gun/weapon present at the facility. The gun/weapon was inspected during this inspection and is in compliance, at this time. Licensee understands all guns, weapons and ammunition must be key-locked separately and made inaccessible per Title 22 regulations.
- Storage areas for poisons are observed to be inaccessible and stored in off limit garage.
- All hazardous items are inaccessible, this includes; detergents, cleaning compounds, medications, and other items.
- There is a properly barricaded fire place
- Appropriate fire extinguisher, smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector is present and were tested by the applicant during this inspection. |
