25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Thompson-Miller met with Licensee Erika Sanchez who guided analyst on a tour of the facility for a One Year Required Inspection. This is a two story 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home with kitchen/dining, family room, living room, den (child care), laundry and garage. There is no pool/spa or body of water on the premises. Licensee child present during the inspection. Family members residing in the home include 3 adults (licensee, two adult sons) and one child. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 5:00am - 12:00am (Midnight). Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed.
Physical Plant: Home is clean and orderly, no fireplace, age appropriate toys and play equipment, working smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector, operable Fire Extinguisher (2A10BC), no one smokes in the home. There is a designated area for ill child(ren) as necessary, no weapon/firearms, facility sketch complete and current, off limit is the entire upstairs and garage. There is a telephone (cell), poisons and cleaning items inaccessible to children (garage). Stairs have a gate.
Kitchen/bathroom: The following are inaccessible: Sharp items, mouthwash, shampoo, razor, nail polish. Sharp items (knives-upper cabinet in kitchen), medication and chemicals located in garage and are inaccessible. Toilets and faucets are clean and operable and home has a clean fully stocked of food refrigerator/freezer. |
