25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Thompson-Miller met with Licensee, Delia Terrazas, who guided analyst on a tour of the facility for an Annual Random inspection. This is a two story 6 bedroom, 3 bathroom home with kitchen/dining, family room, living room, formal dining room/office, laundry room and garage. There is no pool/spa or body of water on the premises. Family members residing in the home include 3 adults (licensee, licensee spouse, adult son) and four children (4 foster). Upon arrival LPA observed children napping. During the inspection Licensee updated LIC279/LIC279B Application for a Family Child Care Home License. Days/hours of operation are Monday through Sunday, 23 hours. Licensee is a Foster Parent, Greater Hope Foundation, #366425472, 14344 Cajon Avenue #101, Victorville, CA 92392, capacity 6, ages 6-12 years males, expire 07/30/2019. Licensee assistant (spouse) present during the inspection. Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed.
Main care is provided in the family room. Children have access to the living room. Children use the bathroom next to the kitchen. Off limit areas include the Bedroom #6 (downstairs next to the kitchen, key lock), all bedrooms up stairs #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, bathroom #2 and #3), garage and laundry (upstairs). The home was inspected inside and out for safety, comfort, cleanliness, telephone service, heating and ventilation, inaccessibility to poisons, detergents/cleaning compounds (upstairs), medicines (file cabinet in family room) and hazardous items (sharp knives in upper cabinet of kitchen) that can pose a danger to children. Fire/earthquake drills complete and maintained current. Roster complete and maintained current. Stairs have a gate. |
