25 | On date and time listed, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Diana Brasel arrived at the facility to conduct an annual inspection along with a pending Increase. An approved granted Fire Clearance was received with an inspection date of 02/07/2022. Upon arrival LPA was greeted by the licensee, the licensee was leaving to conduct pick up she stated, the licensee's assistant was present. LPA was granted access to the facility to conduct the visit, 3 children were present.
Normal days and hours of operation: 7 days a week 24 hours, it was discussed and understood no child at any time exceed 24 hours while in care. LPA toured the facility, inside and out, records were reviewed, and the following was observed and/or discussed:
OFF-LIMIT AREAS INCLUDE: The entire upstairs and garage.
· The facility is operating within the licensed capacity and appropriate ratios
· The Licensee is present in the home and has ensured that children in care are supervised at this time
· When temporarily absent from the home, the Licensee shall arrange for a substitute adult to care for and supervise children
· A working telephone is present
· Appropriate fire extinguisher, smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector is present and were tested by the applicant during this inspection.
· All hazardous items are inaccessible, this includes: detergents, cleaning compounds, medications and other items which could pose a danger to children
· Storage of poisons is inaccessible to children and locked
· There is a properly barricaded fire place |
