25 | Licensing Program Analyst Adrian Castellon conducted an annual random visited at the facility. Upon arrival, Analyst met with Director Linda Cobo and compliance director Shonna Irving. There were 17 children present present and they were napping . Appropriate ratios observed. All required notices, forms and license were posted. Director stated that they current uses the Green Classroom as their main classroom, Blue Classroom as the morning drop off and afternoon pick up room. The Yellow Classroom and both of the lower levels classrooms are currently not being use due to low enrollment. Facility currently only cares for children ages 2 and 5 at this location. Director stated that the facility continues to operations on Monday-Friday from 6am-6pm. Furniture and age appropriate equipment is in good condition inside the classrooms. Rooms have adequate heating, lighting, ventilation and drinking water from an operational water fountain. Storage cubbies are readily available and room accommodates class size. Napping equipment consists of cots which are kept in classroom and each cots has its own sheet or covering. Bathrooms are maintained with operational toilets and faucets with appropriate temperature. Paper towels and toilet paper are available. Bathroom is lighted and has ventilation. Food service area consists of a kitchen located downstairs which is clean and free of hazards. Director stated that breakfast and lunch are brought from the Elementary School. Menu is posted. Cleaning supplies are kept out of reach of children. Outdoor play area is a fenced playground. The playground structure area is free of hazards or debris. There is sufficient cushioning and the area provides shades via canopy. |
