On 07/03/2020 at 12:30PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Elise Read conducted an announced Case Management inspection for the purpose of a capacity increase. Due to COVID-19, this is an announced inspection and LPA did not enter the operating areas of the facility. LPA met with Director Bridget Musante outside of the facility and only entered the areas of the facility that needed to be measured and inspected for licensure today.
There were no children in care at the time of inspection, as the children went home at 12PM.

The facility is requesting a capacity increase from 70 children to 90 children to be served in rooms #10, #12, #13, art studio, and Memorial Hall. Memorial Hall was measured and inspected for licensure during today's inspection. The fire clearance was granted 5/5/2020.

Memorial Hall measures 1168.9365 square feet, sufficient for 33 children. Rooms 10, 12, 13, and art studio were measured by LPA Tulam Vu on 5/24/2017, measuring 2907.93 square feet, sufficient for 83 children. Combined space of all areas is sufficient for 116 children, more than enough for the 90 children requested.
The facility has toilets and sinks sufficient for 105 children.

The outdoor space was measured by LPA Tulam Vu on 5/24/2017, measuring at 6894.99 square feet, sufficient for 91 children.

The furniture, books, games and toys are safe, age-appropriate and in good repair. Room was a comfortable temperature during this visit. No hazards were noted. Medications are kept in a safe place, inaccessible to children. Bathrooms and hand washing areas are in a safe, sanitary and operating condition. Memorial Hall is approved for licensure.

No deficiencies are cited. A capacity increase to 90 children will be issued effective today.

An exit interview was conducted with the Director. The Director was provided a copy of their appeal rights (LIC 9058) and their signature on this form acknowledges receipt of these rights.
