NARRATIVE
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25	Licensing Program Analyst (LPAs) Selina Siao and Tyra Block conducted an unannounced case management visit for the purpose of capacity increase. Facility is currently licensed to operate in the Founder's Hall, Pine Cones, Tree Tops and Foot Prints which was previously measured on 01/22/2016 to be 2943 square feet. Facility requested a capacity increase from 49 to 63 by adding the Tide Pools room. LPAs conducted a tour of all the classrooms and the following ratios were observed: Foot Prints room had 11 children supervised by teacher Susan Domingos and five parent volunteers. Pine Cones room had 9 children supervised by teacher Erin Domingos, teacher aide Alyson Klier and two parent volunteer. The new Tide Pool classroom had 3 children supervised by teacher Jessica Etheridge and teacher aide Frances Migita aka Pascual. All staff members have the required background clearances and are associated to the facility. LPAs inspected and measured the Tide Pool classrooms today and the room measured to be 310.515 square feet, which is sufficient for 8 children. The outdoor area that is connected to Tide Pool measured to be 558.375 square feet which is sufficient for 7 children. The room is equipped with age-appropriate furniture and equipment, including tables, chairs, cubbies, shelves and other supplies for the children. Portable drinking water will be available in the classrooms.

LPAs remeasured the large main outdoor play area and it measured to be 4619.94 square feet and it is sufficient for 61 children. The total outdoor measured area is 5178.315 and is sufficient for up to 69 children. All the classrooms have an outdoor area and a waiver for outdoor play area is already in place.

A fire clearance for 63 was granted on 09/26/2019 by fire department. Facility has sufficient indoor and outdoor activity space for the capacity of 63 and the capacity increase will be granted effective today.

A notice of site visit was provided and to be posted at the facility for 30 days.
