On 05/15/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Danielle Anderson conducted an unannounced complaint inspection to deliver findings for above allegations. LPA met with Director Maria Mendoza. Director accompanied LPA Anderson on a tour of the inside and outside of facility. There were 21 children present 4 with staff members.

During the investigation LPA conducted an unannounced complaint inspection, interviewed Director, staff, daycare parents. There was a separate investigation conducted by SDPD into these allegations. That investigation was closed by law enforcement without further action taken. Based on information obtained in interviews there were no statements or evidence to support the allegations. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred, therefore the above allegation is found to be Unsubstantiated.

Exit interview conducted and copy of this report and appeal rights provided to Director Maria Mendoza. Notice of site visit must be posted for 30 days.
