32 | Director stated that the water outlet A, the kitchen sink faucet has not been use for cooking or drinking since they obtained the lead water testing result. Facility has been using the other water outlet for cooking which was observed by LPA Siao during today's inspection. Facility has replaced the kitchen faucet and the pipeline, facility has been waiting for the water tester to return for testing.
The drinking fountain F located in the Pre-K classroom has been removed since the facility obtained the test result.
The drinking fountain G located at the outdoor preschool playground has been shut off since COVID-19. During today's inspection, LPA observed the drinking fountain G to be covered by a zip lock back with zip tie, to ensure the fountain is inaccessible to the children in care. LPA advised Director to submit another LIC9276 upon completion of the retest of the kitchen faucet and playground drinking fountain G.
Grant funding will be available for testing and remediation of lead to the Child Care Centers that qualify. To make a determination of eligibility, refer to PIN 21-04-CCP. Director posted the lead water testing report at the facility during today's inspection.
