On 11/08/22 at 12:01pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Selina Siao conducted a case management inspection for the purpose of decreasing capacity. Upon arrival LPA met with Assistant Director Sarah Mannos and conducted a tour of the facility. Director Mary Rolfes arrived during the tour. LPA observed the following ratios: Room 4 has 12 children supervised by staff members Holly Hemphill and Tamika Tate. Room 3 has 13 children supervised by Victoria Patino, Sudipta Bag and Cynthia Tentshert. Room 1 has 15 children supervised by staff members Cintia Cartagena, Mallalai Ghani and Cindy Rivera. Room 2 (toddler class/18 months to 30 months) had 11 children supervised by staff members Martha Castro and Lorena Villavicencio A. Appropriate ratio was observed. Staff members have the required background clearances and are associated to the facility.

This facility is currently licensed for 107 preschool children including 18 toddlers and up to 12 school age children in classrooms 1, 3, 4, 5 and 2 (toddler room/18 months to 30 months). Licensee representative submitted an application to decrease their preschool capacity from 107 to 90 children. Facility will be caring for 18 toddlers in room 2 (18 months to 36 months) and 72 preschool children in rooms 1, 3 and 4.

Facility obtained the fire clearance for their requested capacity of 90 children on 09/13/2022. The capacity decrease will be granted at the same time as their facility's infant capacity increase.

Notice of site visit was posted during today's inspection and it must remain posted for 30 days.
