25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Marie Hernandez, conducted the Case Management- Annual Continuation inspection. LPA met with the Facility Director, Patricia Perez, Present during today's inspection are five staff with thirty eight children. The facility is compliant with the ratios during today's inspection. On 07/02/2019, LPA conducted the random/annual inspection, however, the Director, staff and the children were on a field trip on that day. LPA was unable to conduct a record review of staff's and children's records. During today's inspection, LPA verified that the facility has maintained the disaster/fire drills; the last drill was conducted on 06/17/2019. LPA also reviewed staff's and children's records. The staff that opens/closes and the Director have a current pediatric first aid/CPR; it expires on 04/2021. LPA verified the staff's immunization records and their AB 1207 Mandated Child Abuse Reporting certification. The Director was reminded that the AB 1207 must be renewed every two years.
This facility provides Incidental Medical Services – IMS. LPA reviewed storage of medication and equipment/supplies, and reviewed children’s, personnel, and administrative records. No deficiency was cited today. An exit interview was conducted and a copy of the report, and the Notice of Site Visit was provided to the Director. LPA observed the Director post the Notice of Site Visit in a prominent place. The Director states it is understood that this notice must be posted for 30 days. |
