Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Jennifer Lott and Patrick Ma conducted a complaint investigation visit to deliver findings for the above allegation. LPAs were greeted at the front door by Licensee, Bobbie Gordon and granted entry after identifying themselves and disclosing the purpose of their visit.

The Department’s investigation consisted of review of facility and outside source records, interviews with children, staff and outside sources. It is alleged that on or about October 2021, the licensee inappropriately disciplined a day care child. Interviews with outside sources, children, staff and parents could not prove or disprove that the allegation happened. This agency has investigated the complaint alleging provider inappropriately disciplines day care child. The Department has found that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED. An exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee, Bobbie Gordon. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
