A follow-up pre-licensing inspection was conducted by Nancy Diaz, LPA for a change of location. Met with applicant, Leyla Abdalla. Her 17-year old daughter assisted in translating this inspection in Somali.
The following corrections were observed today:

1. A lock was installed to make the upper portion of the yard inaccessible to children.
2. The overgrown weeds were removed.
3. A piece of wood was installed to cover a portion of the fence that had sharp edges.

No further correction is needed. A large license is issued effective today.

With a license for a large family child care home, you can provide care for the following ONLY with a qualified assistant:
12 children with no more than 4 infants or 14 children with no more than 3 infants and one child enrolled in kindergarten and one child at least 6 years old.
