25 | LPA Nancy Diaz conducted an unannounced inspection in reference to observing the corrections to deficiencies cited on 1/10/2020. Mrs. Alkhaleif was home today with her husband, Azzam Alkhaleif and their one-year old daughter.
The following corrections were observed today:
1. The bathroom and kitchen cabinets' latches have been replaced. Toxic items are now inaccessible to children.
2. Mrs. Alkhaleif obtained childrens' required forms. LPA reviewed the files and found that all required forms were on file.
3. Immunization records were observed on file.
Mr. Alkhaleif removed the overgrown grass in the back of the house.
Mrs. Alkhaleif's request for an increase of capacity to 14 children is approved effective today, January 17, 2019. Fire Marshall clearance was received on 1/7/2020 from the East County Fire Protection.
For a Large Family Child Care Home, the maximum number of children for whom care may be provided at any one time when there is an assistant provider in the home, including children under age 10 who reside at the licensee's home and the assistant provider's children under age 10, shall be either:
(1) Twelve children, no more than four of whom may be infants; or
14 children, if all of the following conditions are met:
(a) At least one child is enrolled in and attending kindergarten or elementary school and a second child is at least six years of age.
(b) No more than three infants are cared for during any time when more than 12 children are being cared for. |
