On 5/13/20 at 10:10AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Nancy Diaz conducted an announced virtual prelicensing with the applicant, Ana Mendoza. Due to COVID-19, this inspection was conducted via Facetime.

The partnership between Ana Mendoza and Barbara Peralta has been dissolved and Ana Mendoza is taking over operation of the center. A virtual tour of the classrooms and outdoor play area was conducted with the applicant. This preschool program is located inside Hage Elementary.

Hours of operation will be from 7AM to 5:30PM weekdays. Applicant is requesting to operate in Rooms B1 and B2. Both classrooms were observed equipped with age-appropriate equipment and supplies. The carbon monoxide detectors were tested today. Children will have access to the bathroom located in the elementary building. Applicant is aware that children are to be visually supervised and escorted to and from the bathroom.

Classrooms B1 and B2 and outdoor play area were originally measured on 7/16/2015. Each classroom measured 851 sq. ft. Total indoor area is 1,702 sq. ft. will accommodate 48 preschool children. Each classroom include a sink and storage cabinets. There are a total of 8 toilets & 5 sinks in the girls' bathroom and 4 toilets , 8 urinals and 5 sinks in the boys' bathroom located in the elementary building.

The playground (kindergarten play yard) is located to the west of the classrooms. They play yard measured 6,600 sq. ft. will accommodate 88 children. The playground is fenced with age-appropriate climbing structure with rubberized padding for cushioning. There are drinking fountains available near the play area. There are sails and huge tress that will provide shade during outdoor activities.

This facility plans to provide Incidental Medical Services – IMS.
