Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Samantha Salunga visited the facility for the purpose to conduct an annual random inspection. Upon arrival LPA met with Director, Bibianca (Bibi) Jimenez, and proceeded to tour the facility. Also present were a total of 40 children in the following classrooms:
  • Room 2- 12 children with Maritza Arriaga (teacher), Brittney Mccormick (Aide), and Mary Sands (Aide)
  • Room 3- 16 children with Jamila Adalat (teacher), Madison Burt (teacher), Melda Lopez (teacher), and Matie Ramirez (aide)
  • Room 4- 12 children with Solange Fortes-Timmerma (teacher), Yuridia Uriostegui (Teacher) and Lisa Hartung (Aide)
Appropriate ratios and capacity were observed. Furniture and age appropriate equipment is in good condition indoors and outdoors. Children's toilets and hand washing facilities are sanitary. Rooms are safe and clean. Food preparation area is clean, food and beverages are stored in covered containers at 45 degrees F or less if required, and storage containers for solid waste are covered. Drinking water is readily accessible inside and outside the classroom. All disinfectants, cleaning solutions, and other hazardous items are inaccessible to children through latches and locks. Outdoor play area is fenced. Area has canopies/trees used for shade. There are no bodies of water or weapons at this facility. No excluded individuals are present. Last fire drill was conducted and documented on 11/11/2019. There is an operational carbon monoxide detector at the facility located near the front hallway. First Aid/CPR reviewed and in compliance. Sign in/sign out sheets are well maintained. Admission Agreement forms reviewed for some children. Staff records contain documentation of education, training, and/or experience. Menus are posted. LPA reviewed and provided Director with the Safe Sleep Regulation Concept handout.

This facility provides Incidental Medical Services – IMS, however currently does not have any child enrolled that require it. No medication was available to review during time of inspection.
