25 | An unannounced case management inspection was conducted today by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Samantha Salunga. Purpose of this visit is to address facility’s request of decreasing the capacity from 124 children to 112 children due to losing Room #12. Upon today’s arrival, LPA met with Director, Denise Neifeld. There were no children present today due to "post-camp preschool break" and will resume normal hours of operation on 09/03/2019. Per Director, hours of operation are from Monday thru Friday, 7:30am-5:30pm.
Facility currently serves children 2-5 years old in room #4-11 and 12 toddlers (18-36 months) in Room #12 only. Room #12 was previously measured on 12/04/2018 and measured a total of 506 sq. ft. which is sufficient for the requested 12 toddlers. After taking away Room #12, facility has requested to now only serve a total of 112 children ages 2-5 years old in Rooms #4, #5, #6, #7, #8, #9, #10 and #11. This request is granted and will take in effect as of today’s date, 08/29/2019. Furniture and age appropriate equipment is in good condition indoors and outdoors. Floors are clean and safe. Cleaning supplies are locked and are inaccessible to children. Solid waste storage vessels, including moveable bins, have tight-fitting covers on, and are in good repair. There are no changes regarding the outdoor play area. Outdoor play area is fully fenced. Playground equipment is observed safe and in good condition.
No deficiencies observed in the areas inspected during today's visit. NOTICE OF SITE VISIT IS TO BE POSTED FOR 30 DAYS. LPA observed Director post notice of site visit. |
