25 | Case management inspection conducted by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Selina Siao for the purpose of decrease capacity. The licensed classroom area was reduced as part of the classroom is now the Director's office and food preparation area. Upon arrival, LPA met with Site Supervisor Mariana Gastelum aka Rivera, staff members Maria Christina Evans and Osvaldo Berumen supervising 12 children that were getting ready to wake up from nap. All staff members have the required background clearances and are associated to the facility.
This facility is currently licensed for 24 children and Licensee representative submitted an application to reduce the capacity to 20 children.
The classroom was inspected and measured, and it is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity of 20 children. The room is equipped with age appropriate equipment, furniture, supplies and materials. There are 3 sinks, 2 toilets and a drinking water is available for children inside the classroom.
The playground was previously measured at 2944 square feet, which is sufficient for 39 children. Site Supervisor stated that they bring a water pitcher when children are at the playground.
The fire clearance for 20 was granted on 11/06/2019 and the capacity of 20 children will be granted effective today. Notice of site visit was posted during today's inspection. |
