25 | On 12/28/2021 at 12:25pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Selina Siao conducted an announced Case Management inspection for the purpose of inspecting and measuring the new toddler room which was previously an infant room. Per San Diego Fire Department the infant room must have two exits therefore the facility switch their infant room which was previously located across the front office to the toddler room located at the back. Facility is currently closed for two weeks for winter break therefore no children are in care.
Upon arrival, LPA Siao met with Director Ginger Jamir, Licensee Trudy Khodabande and family members. The facility walls has been repainted during this winter break therefore all the furniture and equipment have been moved away from the walls. LPA inspected the new toddler room and the room was measured.
This preschool is currently licensed for 123 children in a total of five classrooms including the Toddlers (18-36 months), Three's Room, Two's Room, Pre-K Room A and Pre-K Room B. Facility does not wish to make any changes to the license.
The toddler classroom was remeasured at 865.21 square feet, which is sufficient to accommodate up to 24 children. The room is equipped with age appropriate equipment, furniture, supplies and materials. There are a total of 13 sinks and 10 toilets at the facility which is more than sufficient for the licensed capacity. The isolation area is the Director's office and the isolation restroom is the staff's restroom. Facility understands that the school age restroom must have privacy when they care for school age children.
Drinking water dispenser are used to fill up the children's own water bottles. |
