25 | LPA Nancy Diaz conducted an unannounced 3-year required inspection today. LPA met and toured the facility with Room #31 lead staff, Josephine Condra. All required notices, forms and license were posted in an area visible to the parents or authorized person. There were 56 children observed present today in rooms #31, #32 & #33. Room #31 offers two half-day sessions (7:30-10:30AM & 10:45-1:40PM); Room #32 & #33 offers full day session (8:00AM - 2:00PM)
The following census were observed today:
Room #31 with 16 children and staff Josephine Condra, Angie Currie, Betsy Slack, Kristen Straeter, Monika Laborie & Janine Hakanon. Room #32 with 20 children and staff Rosara Hernandez, Becky Camacho & Andrea Rivera. Room #33 with 20 children and staff Michelle Cook, Rumiko Morris & Perla Hernandez. Children-staff ratio were maintained in all the classrooms.
There were no bodies of water observed within the premises. Disinfectants, cleaning solutions, medications and other similar items are inaccessible to children via storage in latched cabinets. Furniture and playground equipment are kept in good condition, free of sharp, loose or pointed parts. All toilets and handwashing facilities are safe and working in sanitary condition. All floors are kept clean and safe. Kitchen, food preparation and storage areas are kept clean, free of litter, rubbish or rodents and other vermin.
The surface of the outdoor activity space are maintained in a safe condition and free of hazards. All storage containers for solid waste have a tight-fitting covers that are kept on and in good repair. Uncontaminated drinking water are readily available both indoors and outdoor. Outdoor activity space surfaces are free of hazards.
At least one person trained in CPR and Pediatric First Aid is present. Facility maintains current children’s record including emergency phone numbers of authorized representatives and medical assessment. Personnel record maintained on all staff including health screening. The licensee has not exceeded the conditions, limitations and capacity specified on the license.
