On 1/12/24, LPA Patrick Ma made an unannounced complaint visit for the complaint received on 1/4/24 for the purpose of delivering findings on the above reference allegations. Upon arrival, LPA was greeted by Director Chaturika Udugam. Also present in the facility were 39 daycare children and 5 staff in two classrooms. Facility is within ratio and capacity.

Based on the information obtained during interviews, observations, and documentation reviewed it is determined that there is insufficient evidence that support the allegations. Interviews with children C1 - C3 identified in the complaint do not support the allegatiions made. During site inspection on 1/5/24 and 1/12/24, facility was clean, organized and did not have any hazards items accessible to children. All rooms were in ratio both days and LPA observed teachers using appropriate tone and redirection with children. LPA also observed faciltiy providing lunch or snack as listed on the menu with regulation proportions and offering seconds to children.
