13 | On 1/12/24 LPA Patrick Ma made an unannounced visit to initiate an investigation and deliver findings, for the complaint received on 1/4/24, regarding the above allegation. LPA met with Director, Chaturika Udugama. Also present in the facility were 33 daycare children and 4 staff in 3 rooms. Children were napping at time of the tour. LPA toured the facility, conducted interviews of staff and made a confidential names list.
Based on the information obtained during interviews and observations it is determined that that 8 out of 16 cribs had light rust building around the joins. However, 4 out 4 double strollers reviewed all had operational seat belts and 2 of the 4 strollers were a bit worn down but operational and no hazards were apparent. LPA advised Director, maintenance or replacement may be required soon for the 2 worn down stollers. 7 out of 7 high chairs inspected were in good condition, children are buckled when in use according to manufacturer recommendations per staff interviews. |
