LPA Gloria Cruz made an unannounced visit to the home and met with Licensee, Claudia Suarez. Also present were two helpers, Maria Bello and Elvira Buenrostro and 12 day care children. Purpose of the visit was to complete investigation alleging children were left unattended in preschool parking lot. Child #1 and Child #2 were interviewed. (Confidential Name List provided to Licensee.)
Although complaint alleges children were left in school parking lot, there was no allegations nor evidence to support this issue. Children were dropped off at the preschool by adult helper, were walked into the gated play area, however, helper did not accompany the children into the classroom when classroom opened, and neglected to sign children in. Due to conflicting statements it is unclear whether children had supervision transitioning from the school playground to the classroom. The allegation is Unsubstantiated, meaning that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur.
No deficiency is cited. NOTICE OF SITE VISIT MUST BE POSTED FOR 30 DAYS
