25 | On 3/6/23 at 8:00 AM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Annette Sutherland conducted an unannounced annual inspection with the Licensee. Upon arrival, LPA met with Licensee Aurelia Torres. Licensee was provided the Inspection Checklist (LIC 126). The 2 story home was toured and inspected to ensure an environment safe for the care and supervision of children. There are no day care children present. Licensee provided a copy of her Facility Roster LIC 9040.
Licensee has provided adequate space for the children to eat, sleep and play within the home. Areas used for child care include Living room, classroom, kitchen , bathroom #1 and backyard . Off limits areas include entire upstairs (3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms), dining room, and is inaccessible through use of a safety gates. The licensee has sufficient toys and equipment available. The licensee will be using the backyard for outdoor activities. Licensee understands that supervision is required at all times during outdoor activities. LPA conducted child care quality management interview with the Licensee.
The fire extinguisher, smoke detector, and carbon monoxide detector meet requirements and are operational. All hazardous items were latched/locked and secured out of reach of children. There are no bodies of water on the property. Licensee states that there are no weapons in the home. First Aid and CPR certifications expire on 1/2025. Licensee has required immunization's. Mandated Reporter Training expire on 2/13/25 Children’s records were not reviewed as there were no children in care today. |
