25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jo Ann Legaspi conducted an unannounced case management visit with Licensee Delucchi. The purpose of this visit was to inspect the living room for use by school aged children. Due to the COVID 19 outbreak, this inspection was done as a tele visit upon the FaceTime platform. Present in the home were the Licensee, one assistant, two (2) infants, three (3) toddlers and five (5) school aged children.
LPA and Licensee discussed Provider Information Notice (PIN) 20-24-CCP Safe Sleep and the LIC 9227 form. LPA electronically provided Licensee with PIN 20-24-CCP and a blank LIC 9227.
The Licensee requested use of the living room for school aged children. School aged children would use the living room for their online classes and course work. The Licensee provided photographs of the intended space and a floor plan incorporating the living room with the already approved areas for care. During today’s tele visit the LPA conducted a tour of the facility with Licensee Delucchi. The living room fireplace is screened. Stable boards that would socially distance school aged children in the living room were observed. LPA found the physical plant is consistent with the submitted facility sketch/floor plan.
Based on today’s tele inspection, the living room area has been found to be in compliance, meeting Title 22 regulations for use. The living room area has been approved for use by school aged children.
No deficiencies cited. A Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) is to be posted for thirty (30) days. LPA electronically provided Licensee Delucchi with the LIC 9213. An exit interview was conducted. A copy of this report and Licensee/Appeal Rights (LIC 9058) will be e-mailed to the Licensee. The Licensee was advised that acknowledgement of the receipt of the report is to be received within twenty-four hours. |
