32 | During interview with daycare parents, no parents expressed any concern regarding this allegation. During interviews with licensee, adult resident and staff member, no occurrences of daycare children being handled in a rough manner were disclosed. During interviews with daycare children, one (1) out of five (5) daycare children interviewed stated that an adult resident had handled them in a rough manner.
It was alleged that an adult providing care and supervision spoke inappropriately to child in care. Interviews were conducted with three daycare parents, licensee, an adult resident, one staff member, and five daycare children regarding this allegation. During interview with daycare parents, no parents expressed any concern regarding this allegation. During interviews with licensee, adult resident and staff member, daycare discipline policy/procedure was discussed and determined to be in compliance with Department standards and regulations. During interviews with daycare children, one (1) out of five (5) daycare children interviewed stated that an adult providing care and supervision spoke inappropriately to them.
Based on interviews conducted, there is a lack of evidence available to be able to draw definitive conclusions. Although the above allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore it is determined that the above allegations are UNSUBSTANTIATED.
A copy of this report, appeal rights (LIC 9058 - 03/22), and LIC 9213 – Notice of Site Visit was provided to the licensee. Licensee was advised to post the LIC 9213 for 30 days. An exit interview was conducted with licensee, Sandra Delucchi. |
