13 | LPA, Luigi Gargaro, conducted an unannounced complaint visit to the facility today to deliver a finding regarding the above allegation. During the course of the investigation, analyst conducted interviews with the reporting party, the licensee and children in care and reviewed documentation related to the allegation.
Analyst determined that during a 03/04/19 school pick up of day care children the licensee left four children in her vehicle near the school entrance for two to three minutes while she attempted to set up a meeting with a school administrator.
Based on LPA’s observations and interviews which were conducted and record review(s) the preponderance of evidence standard has been met, therefore the above allegation(s) is found to be SUBSTANTIATED, California Code of Regulations, (Title 22, Division & 102417(k)(1)) are being cited on the attached LIC 9099D.
Upon receipt of a type A violation, licensee shall post and provide copies of this licensing report to parents/guardians of children in care at the facility and to parents/guardians of children newly enrolled at the facility during the next 12 months. Analyst printed a copy of the Notice Of Site Visit today and had licensee place it in her facility notice area before he left the home. Licensee was provided appeal rights during today's visit.
