13 | On 11/04/2025 at 2:45 pm, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Michelle Hood and Gloria Gonzalez conducted an unannounced complaint inspection. The LPAs were greeted by facility staff Carolina Guerrero Beltran. LPAs were informed the the licensee was picking children up from school. LPA Gonzalez disclosed the purpose of the inspection was to interview children and deliver the complaint findings to Olga Beltran. During the inspection, LPAs observed 10 children with three facility staff. At 3:10 pm, the licensee arrived with one school-age chiild.
Today, LPA Gonzalez interviewed two daycare children and one facility staff. During the investigation, LPAs Hood and Gonzalez interviewed the reporting party, licensee, five staff members, five daycare children, three daycare parents and witnessess. It was alleged that the licensee did not ensure that all adults in the home were fingerprinted and associated and the licensee allowed children access to areas off limits area.
Based on interviews with the Reporting Party (RP), licensee, staff, daycare children, daycare parents and witnesses, it was determined that additional adults were occasionally present in the home; however, they do not interact with daycare children. A child disclosed on one occasion while in care that the licensee allowed older children to play with the Nintendo Switch that the licensee's adult child provided the children. |
