25 | On 3/18/21 Licensing Program Analysts Michael Morales-DeSilvestore and Patrick Ma made an unannounced case management visit for the preschool addition of classroom #1. A request for room changes was received on 02/4/21. Fire clearance for 95 children was granted on 3/15/21. During the visit there were 34 children present with 3 teachers. Facility is requesting an increase to 95 children.
LPA's inspected and measured room #1 to be 1,605.5 sq.ft. The total facility square feet, including encumbered space, measures at 4,280.5 square feet, sufficient for 122 children. Facility has a boys and girls restroom with a bathroom capacity for 135 children. There were sufficient age appropriate furnishings, toys, books and games available and no hazards were noted.
Facility has 2 playgrounds available for use. Back patio measured 1,303 square feet which is sufficient for 17 children. Circle playground measured 3,631 square feet which is sufficient for 48 children. Facility total outdoor play space is sufficient for 65 children at one time. Facility will need to apply for a playground waiver to accommodate their capacity increase.
Based on fire clearance the increase would be for 95 children.

Facility was provided the report/appeal rights and notice of site visit. Notice of site visit must be posted for 30 days. Signature confirms receipt of these documents.
