During the investigation LPA inspected the facility and conducted interviews. LPA did not note any unclean nap cots, however, the bottom sheets are not removed until the end of the week and, when not in use, are stacked atop of each other in an open closet. It is possible that if a rodent is in the facility, it could walk across the bedding atop the cot. Based on this information, the above-referenced allegations could not be conclusively proven or disproven. Therefore, they are considered Unsubstantiated. A finding that the complaint is Unsubstantiated means that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred.
