On 12/08/2023 at 3:00pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Selina Siao conducted an unannounced complaint inspection for the complaint received on 10/26/2023. The purpose of the inspection is to deliver the findings on the above reference allegations. The initial inspection was conducted by LPA Siao on 10/31/2023. Throughout the course of investigation, interviews were conducted with the reporting party, several staff members and several day care parents. It was alleged that on 10/23/2023 around 12:30pm that a staff member was yelling and had pushed a child in care to prevent the child from getting food that belongs to another child. Based on the interviews conducted, the alleged staff and the co-teacher in the room denied the allegations. No other staff or parents could corroborate the allegations or has concern about the above allegations. Although the allegations may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violations occurred, therefore the above allegations are found to be unsubstantiated. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Director Rashelle Cultrera. Notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
