25 | A Case Management inspection was conducted today by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Andrea Taylor to inspect and measure facility for capacity increase determination. The proposed increase is from a capacity of 96 children to a capacity of 120 children. LPA toured the entire facility indoors & outdoor and measurements of proposed new rooms ( rooms #3, 4 and 7).
Based on today’s measurement limiting factor is the indoor activity space, the capacity is limited to children 198. Applicant has only request an increase 24 children.
Rooms 1, 2,3,4,5,6 and 7 are sufficient for the increase of 24 children. There are enough sinks and toilets for the capacity requested. The outdoor activity area is sufficient for the capacity requested.
The following was observed:
· Classroom is adequately equipped with age and size appropriate furniture and equipment
· Water is brought from home and refilled with fountains and sink faucets & a water fountain outside drink.
· Playground is enclosed by appropriate fence.
· Outdoor activity area is supplied with age and size appropriate equipment.
· Adequate shade is provided by the patio area
· Food is supplied by the school district. It is brought daily. No storage area for food
· The office area is located by the main entrance and will temporarily serve as the isolation area for
ill children until parents arrive.
· Medication will be stored in the office and is inaccessible to children.
· Medication administration forms were reviewed.
. First Aid kit is complete.
· Sign in/Sign out record was reviewed. Sign in / sign out is electronic
Exit interview was conducted and a copy of this report was provided to the director on this date. A Notice of Site Visit was issued and posted. |
