On 08/01/23, at 3:30 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Luigi Gargaro, conducted an unannounced annual inspection visit and met with site supervisor, Bianca Brugger. LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection and toured the facility indoors and outdoors. This is a before and after school program which operates on a traditional school year schedule. Days and hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 6:00AM-9:00AM and 3:00PM-6:00PM (with 1:30PM start time on minimum days).

There is currently one classroom, the Child Care Room, that is used as the program's main care area but the facility also has the multi-purpose room (Room #200), the Media Center and rooms #304, #502, #603 as approved supervision areas. Site Supervisor Brugger stated that those areas/rooms have not been used this semester but can be used when needed.

When analyst arrived at the facility today he found staff and children in the outdoor area immediately behind the classroom engaged in program activity. The following ratios were observed: 37 children were present under the supervision of the site supervisor Ms. Brugger and staff members Kristina Contreras and Christopher Vasquez. During analyst's visit, staff member Brianna Machado, who was working at the YMCA's related DASH program, came to the program when Mr. Vasquez took over the DASH supervision.

Analyst was unable to complete the visit today due to time constraints and will return to conduct an unannounced continuation visit on another date. Analyst reviewed the report with site supervisor Brugger, had her sign it and left a copy for her records.
