On 11/08/22 at 11:25am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Selina Siao conducted a case management inspection for the purpose of adding an additional room to the current license. Upon arrival LPA met with Assistant Director Sarah Mannos and conducted a tour of the facility. LPA observed 9 infants in the room 6 supervised by staff members Shanna Goldman, Vanessa Lopez and Natalie Villalabos. Appropriate ratio was observed. Staff members have the required background clearances and are associated to the facility. Director Mary Rolfes arrived during the tour.

This facility is currently licensed for 12 infants in room 6. Licensee representative submitted an application to increase their infant capacity from 12 to 24 by using their licensed preschool classroom 5. Room 5 is set up with a crib area and there are 12 cribs in the room.

Room 5 activity area was inspected and measured at 561.70 square feet, which is sufficient to accommodate up to 16 children. The room is equipped with age appropriate equipment, furniture, supplies and materials. There is changing table placed within the reach of a sink. Pitching water will be brought to the room for the children to drink.

The outdoor playground was previously measured to be approximately 900 square feet which is sufficient to accommodate up to 12 children. Director submitted an outdoor waiver to LPA during today's inspection.

Facility was granted a fire clearance on 09/13/2022 for their requested capacity of 24. The capacity increase of 24 will be granted upon approval of the outdoor waiver by the department.
Notice of site visit was posted during today's inspection and it remain posted for 30 days.
