25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Marie Hernandez conducted the unannounced Required inspection. LPA met with the Facility Representative, Gini Andrade and the Director Lisa Daniels. LPA was given access to inspect the facility. The Representative Ms. Andrade accompanied LPA on the tour of the facility. LPA inspected the classrooms for compliance. In room #1, there are nine children with one staff, in classroom #2, there are eight children with one staff, in the classroom #3, there are eight children with one staff and room #4, there are ten children with one staff. The facility has maintained the appropriate ratios and capacity during the inspection. The staff are providing the appropriate care & visual supervision of children during the inspection. There are no bodies of water and there are fire arms/weapons on the premises during the inspection. The facility is ensuring that all children are being visually supervised by a teacher during the inspection. The facility is adhering to a ratio of one teacher supervising no more than 12 children in attendance during the inspection. The facility is operating within the conditions and limitations specified on the license during the inspection. The disinfectants, cleaning solutions, poisons and other dangerous items are inaccessible to children during the inspection. The storage areas for poisons are locked during the inspection. All materials and surfaces accessible to children are toxic free. The furniture and supplies are age appropriate. The rooms have adequate lighting, and ventilation during the inspection. The floors are found to be clean and safe during the inspection. The drinking water is readily accessible inside and outside for the children during the inspection. The restrooms are maintained with operational toilets and faucets with appropriate temperature during the inspection. |
