32 | Interviews revealed one staff enters the information usually while children nap or while another staff observes the children in care. Other confidential interviews revealed that it was thought that staff could work on homework related to Child Education while in the classroom, however no staff had been observed doing this and it was clarified that staff should not be doing any homework while in class. One confidential interview revealed there were two former staff that had been known to use their electronics for personal use however, those staff are no longer employed and have not been for several months.
Based on confidential interviews conducted and records reviewed during the investigation, the allegation that staff provides inadequate supervision to day care children may have occurred, however is not supported or proven by evidence. Therefore, the above allegation is unsubstantiated. A copy of this report, LIC 811 Confidential Names List and appeal rights were given and explained to acting Director Sara Salazar.
