Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Mariah McCarty made an unannounced visit to the facility. A case management visit is being conducted in response to the receipt of an unusual incident report (UIR) from the facility. The UIR was received by the licensing agency on October 1, 2019. There was a video posted on social media by an employee of a parent dancing on the furniture in the classroom while children were in there napping on August 30, 2019.

Facility records were reviewed, and staff were interviewed. Based on information gathered, the facility acted appropriately, and no violations have been identified at this time. The staff members who were present in the classroom during the incident were reprimanded, and the parent involved is no longer allowed in the classroom.

An exit interview was conducted, and a copy of this report was provided to facility staff.
