13 | On 11/15/23, at approximately 11:15am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Saraliz Velando conducted an unannounced complaint visit for the purpose of delivering findings for complaint received on 8/30/23 regarding the above allegation. LPA met with the Director, Susannah Taylor-Cook and toured the facility. There were 79 preschool staff and 23 preschool children present.
LPA Velando, after conducting staff interviews, parent interviews, and reviewing facility files, did not find evidence of staff leaving a child alone in a room for an extended period. Based on the information obtained, it was not determined that the staff member carried out the above allegation. The preponderance of the evidence has not been met and therefore, the above allegation is found to be UNSUBSTANTIATED. No deficiencies are cited. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred. Exit interview was conducted with director, Susannah Taylor-Cook. Appeal Rights and licensing report was reviewed and the signature at the bottom of this report confirms receipt. A notice of site visit was provided and must remain posted for 30 days.
