Admission agreement, emergency information and medical assessment forms were reviewed for some children. Sign In/Sign Out sheets are well maintained. Staff records contain documentation of education, training, and/or experience. Five staff members do not have verification of immunization against measles and pertussis and two staff members do not have health screening reports or tuberculosis clearances. Menus are posted. LPA reviewed the following with the licensee and director: Recently Approved Safe Sleep Regulations in Effect, PIN 20-24-CCP dated 9/15/20. LPA obtained an updated Emergency Disaster Plan for Child Care Centers- LIC610, Personnel Report-LIC500, and Parent Handbook.

Child Care Providers can now sign up for Quarterly Updates and PINS through the DSS website. Please go to www.ccld.ca.gov and click on Child Care, go under Quick Links and Quarterly Updates, click on “Receive Important Updates” then enter your email address and choose which program(s) you would like to subscribe to and click “subscribe”.

Licensee Lee and Director Lazaro were reminded that all adults 18 and over, including employees and volunteers, except as specified in Health and Safety Code section 1596.871, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a Child Care Center. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day for a maximum of 5 days or, if the penalty is for a repeat violation, for a maximum of 30 days per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
