25 | On 09/21/2023, at 2:15 p.m., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Cindy Meier conducted an unannounced case management inspection for the purpose of inspecting the construction that was completed on the classrooms. LPA met with Director, Beatriz Romo and disclosed the purpose of the inspection. LPA toured the inside of the facility. The following ratios were observed during the inspection: twenty-one (21) children and twelve (12) staff members. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The construction to remodel classrooms 1,2, and 3 was completed on 7/11/2023. The fire marshal approval was granted on 8/13/2023. The current indoor space measured a total of 3598.02 which is sufficient to accommodate the license capacity of 72 preschool children, ages 3 through 5, stated on the current license. No change in capacity was submitted. Classrooms are equipped with appropriate furniture, including cots for napping, tables, chairs, cubbies, bookshelves and other materials for children.
No deficiencies cited during today's inspection.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Director, Beatriz Romo. A copy of this report, along with Appeal Rights (LIC9058), were provided. A Notice of Site Visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. LPA observed that the Notice of Site Visit was posted during the inspection. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
