25 | On 1/6/21 at 12:20 pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Annette Sutherland conducted an unannounced virtual case management inspection for the purpose of following up on a positive Covid -19 concern that was reported on 12/30/20. Due to Covid 19, this inspection was conducted virtually.
LPA Sutherland spoke with Director Emalina Ledbetter. The facility is currently open, Staff member that tested positive is currently in quarantine and will be back in the facility on 1/13/21. Director stated that she has notified the Department of Public Health, staff and all parents with children enrolled at the facility of the Covid-19 exposure. Director was told she could stay open. At the time of inspection there were 7 children and 1 staff member present in the outdoor playground.
Appropriate capacity and ratio was observed.
The entire facility was cleaned and sanitized. LPA witnessed children and staff member wearing masks. And appropriately distanced. Director confirmed that they take the children temperatures upon arrival. Covid posters were hung throughout facility and hand washing stations. Director stated that they are following Covid 19 guidelines
LPA emailed Covid-19 resources to the Director including links to the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), Local County Public Health Department, Center for Disease Control (CDC) and the California Department of Social Services (CDSS) webpage where Provider Information Notices (PIN’s) can be found.
LPA Sutherland will follow up with Director next week.
No Deficiencies are cited.
An exit interview was conducted with Director. The Director was provided a copy of their appeal rights, this report and the Notice of Site visit via email. Director will respond to the email confirming receipt of these items. This will act as Directors’ signature on todays inspection report. Notice of site visit will remain posted for 30 days. |
