(3) Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Selina Siao conducted a required inspection at the facility. Upon arrival, LPA met with Site Supervisor Kelly Rabanal and five other staff members in the Auditorium (stage area). Staff members were having a meeting to prepare for the children before they get out from class. All required notices, forms and license were posted. Staff members went to different areas on campus to gather the children and signed the children into the program. The program separates the children by grades and there is a separate tables for children to placed their backpacks located in the auditorium. The following ratio were observed: 24 children in the Auditorium with teacher Esmeralda Beiza and teacher aide Esmeralda Duran. 14 children (2nd graders) were observed eating snack at the blue tables outside supervised by teacher Katy Hiquchi. 25 children (Kindergarteners) lined up after using the restroom supervised by teacher Beatriz Calamaco and teacher aide Marie Sindayigaya. 17 children playing on the grass areas supervised by teachers Bianca Alvarado and Paola Nava.

Furniture and age appropriate equipment is in good condition. Bathrooms are maintained with operational toilets and faucets with appropriate temperature. Paper towels and toilet paper are available. Snack menu is posted. Cleaning supplies are kept out of reach of children. Outdoor play area is the black top and grass area by the restroom. Children do not use the grass area. Areas has tress and building use as shade. An operating drinking fountain is located outside the black top area by the restroom. LPA reviewed sign in sheets, first aid supplies and reviewed medication policy and storage, all areas are within compliance. Isolation area the area next to the signed in table. Personnel and client records were reviewed. Reporting requirements was also reviewed. All personnel have required criminal record and child abuse index clearances or exemptions. LPA reviewed Emergency Disaster Plan and last earthquake drill was conducted on 09/11/2019. Facility has an operating carbon monoxide detector.

Facility has at least one staff member that has a valid EMSA approved CPR/FA when children are in care. All staff members have the required mmunizations and have completed the mandated online child abuse training and the training per agreed on the non compliance plan.

This facility provides Incidental Medical Services – IMS. LPA reviewed storage of medication and equipment/supplies, and reviewed children’s, personnel, and administrative records. Child Care Providers can now sign up for Quarterly Updates and PINS through the DSS website. Please go to www.ccld.ca.gov and click on Child Care, go under Quick Links and Quarterly updates, click on “Receive Important Updates” then enter your email address and choose which program(s) you would like to subscribe to and click “subscribe”. LPA discussed California Megan's Law and provided: www.meganslaw.ca.gov.

An updated LIC500 (personnel report ) and LIC610 (emergency disaster plan) will be submitted to Analyst within 5 days.

A notice of site visit was provided and to be posted at the facility for 30 days. . Failure to keep notice posted will result in a civil penalty of $100.00

Facility appears to be in substantial compliance during today's inspection.
