32 | Regarding the allegation that staff do not provide appropriate supervision to infants in care, LPA interviewed six (6) staff members, nine (9) daycare parents, and reviewed video recordings of the infant playground. All staff members indicated supervision practices which satisfy regulation standards. Seven (7) out of nine (9) parents interviewed expressed no concern with the supervision of infants, while two (2) parents stated that they felt supervision could be improved. Additionally, no evidence of lack of infant supervision was observed by LPA during review of video recordings of infant playground.
Regarding the allegation that staff did not practice proper hand hygiene, LPA interviewed six (6) staff members. During interviews, all staff members provided accounts of facility hygiene procedures. These hygiene procedures are in compliance with current COVID-19 guidelines.
Based on interviews conducted, LPA observations and review of recordings, there is a lack of evidence available to be able to draw definitive conclusions. Although the above allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore it is determined that the above allegations are UNSUBSTANTIATED.
