25 | On 03/20/2025 at 10:00 a.m. an office meeting was conducted with licensee representative, CEO Monte Jones, COO Ebony James, Director Charmaine Deegan, and Attorney Todd E. Kobernick was conducted to discuss citations issued on 03/05/2025 and 8/13/2024. Present at the meeting were Regional Manager (RM) Kimberly Williams, Licensing Program Manager (LPM), Jason Garay and Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Victoria Hernandez. During this meeting, Inspection Authority of the Department 101200(b) were reviewed to ensure a thorough understanding. The Department has the inspection authority specified in Health and Safety Code Sections 1596.852, 1596.853 and 1596.8535. (b) The Department has the authority to interview children or staff without prior consent.
On 03/05/2025, a Type A violation of the California Code Regulation (CCR) Section 101200(b) - Based on interview, the COO did not comply with the section cited above in not permitting licensing to interview children.
On 08/13/2024, a Type A violation of the California Code Regulation (CCR) Section 101200(b)(1) - The licensee did not comply with the section cited above in that facility Chief Operating Officer refused to allow LPA to interview children.

Licensee will update the following information LIC 308, LIC 309, and updated admission agreement.
Licensee Representatives were informed that repeated violations or failure to comply with licensing laws and regulations may result in administrative action taken by the Department. Licensee Representative, Monte Jones stated they understood and will ensure the facility complies with all regulations and laws governing Child Care Centers. A copy of this report was provided to the licensee representatives. |
