25 | On 12/1/20 at 8:15 AM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Keturah Lane and Patrick Ma conducted an unannounced case management tele-inspection due to COVID-19 State of Emergency via Zoom with Director Marla Martin. The purpose of the visit was to inquire about recent positive cases of COVID-19 at the facility and compliance with COVID-19 guidelines. There is also an infant license at this facility #376701401 that has not been impacted by the Covid-19 positive cases. Director stated that following census for classrooms under the preschool license:
Bumblebees (Toddlers) - 0 children, classroom is currently closed due to COVID-19
Grasshoppers (After school program) – 0 children, classroom is currently closed due to COVID-19
Caterpillars (3 yr-olds) – 9 children with staff member Michelle Antunez
Dragonflies (Pre-K) – 5 children with staff member Alejandra Mejia
Fireflies (Pre-K) 8 children with staff member Vanessa Godinez
Ladybugs (2 yr-olds) – 9 children with staff member Carla Delhotal
On 9/21/20, the facility reported 2 positive cases in the Dragonfly classroom which closed on 9/21/20 and reopened on 10/1/20. There was also 1 positive case in the Caterpillar classroom and that classroom was reopened on 10/12/20. On 11/24/20, Licensing was notified by facility of one COVID positive staff member who worked a few hours prior to receiving positive results. Per Director all affected parents have been notified of all positive test results and Director closed the classroom. Director tried to call Public Health Dept on Monday 11/23/20 and received call back on 11/24/20. Per public health the facility was advised to close the affected classroom (Bumblebees) which had already been done and to notify all affected families. Bumblebee classroom will reopen on 12/8/20.
