The total indoor square footage calculation for all Preschool classrooms (including the classrooms that would be considered "dual classrooms" if waiver request is approved) was 6,749.23 square feet which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity of 192 preschool children. All classrooms are equipped with appropriate furniture, tables, chairs, bookshelves, and other materials for the children. Applicant understands that she must submit a plan of operation along with waiver request to explain to the department how she will ensure that Class #2, Class #6, Class #7, and Class #9 will have age appropriate equipment (tables & chairs) and toys for the Preschool children when they are present in the classrooms. The children have access to restrooms that are located inside of the classrooms. Classrooms #2 through #9 all are equipped with 2 toilets and 2 sinks per classroom. Therefore, there are a total of 16 toilets and 16 sinks available for the children's use which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity of 192 preschool children. Drinking water is available at the center via water jugs and disposable cups. Disinfectants, cleaning solutions, and other hazardous substances are kept inaccessible. The center will be providing breakfast, lunch, and snacks and the menus are posted. All of the required documents are posted. The center will be providing hand written sign in and sign out. There is an operational carbon monoxide detector, smoke alarm, and a fire extinguisher.
