Planned hours of operation are Monday through Friday 7:00am to 5:00pm.

All classrooms were inspected and measured the following:

The total indoor space measured at 938.42 square feet, which is sufficient to accommodate 26 children. However, the facility is only requesting a capacity of 23 preschool children. The classrooms are equipped with appropriate furniture and napping equipment (mats), tables, chairs, cubbies, bookshelves and other materials for children. There are three (3) sinks and two (2) toilets which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity of 23 children.

Drinking water is available in the classrooms via refillable water containers and children will bring refillable water bottles from home. A staff restroom is located in Fuller Hall and is designated for ill children. Fuller Hall will be utilized as an isolation area for ill children.

The preschool outdoor activity space was inspected and measured a total of 1777.99 square feet which is sufficient to accommodate 23 children. The outdoor activity space is fenced, has adequate shade through the use of trees and sufficient cushioning under and around the play structure and slides by the use of rubber mulch and rubber mats. Drinking water is readily available in the outdoor activity space via refillable water containers and children bring refillable water bottles from home. Proper supervision and placement of staff in the outdoor activity space was advised to ensure supervision and safety of children.

Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. For IMS information see Evaluator Manual - Regulation Interpretations and Procedures for Child Care Centers Sections 101173 and 101226. When any IMS is provided, an updated Plan of Operation that includes IMS must be submitted to the department. The following information regarding ADA was provided: US Department of Justice (USDOJ) toll-free ADA Information Line at (800) 514-0301 (voice/ (800) 514-0383 (TTY) and link to publication: Commonly Asked Questions about Child Care Centers and the ADA, available at: http://www.ada.gov/childqanda.htm. LPA discussed California Megan's Law www.meganslaw.ca.gov. LPA discussed and provided Lead Prevention pamphlet. Owner states she understands all staff must have a criminal record clearance and be associated to the facility prior to having a presence in the facility.

A fire clearance for 27 children was granted on 12/03/20. However, an updated fire clearance is required due to the owner's requested for a change of use for room #4 and requested capacity for the preschool program. An updated LIC200A was received during this inspection.

The following corrections are needed prior to licensure:
· Director shall complete the required Lead Prevention Training
· Updated Fire Clearance

After an updated fire clearance has been received and verification of the director completing the required Lead Prevention Training, a license may be granted after final file review.

An exit interview was conducted with the owner. The following reports were discussed and provided: LIC809, LIC809-C and LIC9102.
