13 | On 01/07/2025 at 10:00 am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Michelle Hood conducted an unannounced complaint inspection regarding the above allegation, LPA met with the Director. LPA Hood explained the purpose of the inspection was to interview daycare children, staff and deliver the complaint findings. LPA observed 12 children with one teacher and two aides in the preschool classroom.
Throughout the investigation, LPA Hood interviewed the director, licensee, the Reporting Party (RP), daycare parents, daycare children, and facility staff. Based on an interview with the licensees admittance and LPA's observation, it was determined the temporary fencing around the off-limit area on the playground was not in good repair before allowing children access.
The preponderance of evidence standard has been met; therefore, the allegation is found to be SUBSTANTIATED. The facility is being cited. See the LIC 9099D.
